Children's Activities
We at Indian Rock Stables believe that children and horses have a special bond. We foster that bond with many children's activities: our Horsemanship Programs, Lessons, and Pony Parties.
Horsemanship Programs
Get ready to saddle up for a day or a week of fun! Summer Horsemanship Program runs on various weeks throughout the summer. We also have Vacation Horsemanship Programs in December, February, and April. Kids ages 5 and up can arrive at 9am and spend until 2pm learning about and riding horses.
Formal riding lesson in the morning
General horse care
Grooming/bathing horses
Parts of tack/equipment care
Horse demonstrations
Horse crafts
Afternoon riding games/trail ride
Daily snacks provided
Friday horse show and Pizza Party
To
ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants are required to
wear
full length long pants (riding pants/jeans/leggings) and closed toe
shoes or boots with a low flat heel.
Participants are to bring a lunch and beverage daily.

The SHP fills up fast, so make sure you secure your spot early! The cost per child, per session is $425. We offer a sibling/multiple week discount of $25. You will need our SHP Registration Form and Waiver completed before your first session.
